Field Fashion Friday: Highlights of the North Face Sale
Usually, the only sale I comb through with this much attention is the Nordstrom Half Yearly, but the North Face has just put their goods on major discount across several sites (like REI.COM and Moosejaw.com) and the deals are good. Now’s a good time to get some good pieces for cheap that you can wear in the city but also translate to the occasional skiing, glamping, hiking, or hunting trip.

- The North Face Momentum Triclimate Jacket – $125
- The North Face tees – $17
- The North Face Horizon Shorts – $30
They look a little dweebish in this pic but I bet they are cute on. It’s hard to find a short with long enough inseam to not ride up but short enough inseam to not look butch. These seem to be just right.
If you want something similar but a little shorter, try:
- The North Face Maywood Shorts – $28
- The North Face Addyson Vest – $68
- The North Face Apex Bionic Softshell jacket – $74
I own this. Order up, it runs small in my opinion. It comes in lots of colors. This one reminds me of orange shebert:
Softshells are great because they’re soft and cozy enough for lounging in a mountain lodge in yoga pants but they’re tough enough to be worn out in weather. (Not Antartica or everest weather mind you!)
- The North Face Thermoball Remix Vest (what a name) – $74
They also have it in jacket form, which looks sporty and cute.
If I were to make a purchase today, it would probably be this guy:
- The North Face Oso Fleece Hoodie -$98
All of The North Face oso and osito jackets are made of a furry fabric that is so soft to the touch. This makes me want to curl up by a fire in a mountain lodge.
I sense a mountain lodge theme going on here.
Have a great rest of your Friday! Happy shopping.
