Field Fashion Friday: Columbia Trail Shorts

Columbia Saturday Trail Short, Cabela’s, $45

I own these in camo (from REI) and LOVE them but think this red hibiscus color is even cuter. These would be good for hiking, kayaking, shooting skeet and even wearing around town.

I tested them out on two recent hiking trips and they were comfortable and held up well. They’re soft, stretchy, and have a convenient zipper and snap closure. They don’t look so outdoorsy that they can’t be worn in the city as well.

If I had one complaint, it would be that the inseam (5″) is a bit short. Not that my husband is complaining…

They come in a variety of other colors too. This red would go perfectly with these boots!
