Field Fashion Friday: Cute Backpacks
I’m an advocate for organizing gear in bags that stand ready-to-go in your closet. Below are some good options for these “Go bags,” all from Nordstrom.com. A few things to look for in a bag:
- Fine getting wet/dirty
- Easy and quiet to open (if you’re watching a bird rest on a riverbank and need to reach for the camera, you won’t want to make a bunch of racket)
- Mid-size
Sandqvist backpack. My heart gravitated towards this one. Naturally, since it’s $227. So vintage and cute. (Less expensive alternative here.)
Sole Society Ellie. On the much more reasonable end of the spectrum is this little guy for $44. He has 4.5 stars from 11 reviewers. Pretty good I must say! I may get it in black for my upcoming Europe trip.
Herschel Supply Co. backpack. Simple, classic, will not compete with your outfit. Good because it’s “mid volume” so fairly compact.
Fjällräven ‘Kånken’ Water Resistant Backpack. Now that’s just fun to say.
Volcom On the Go. Another fun basic, but with more compartments!
And last but not least, I had to include this zebra covered packpack.
Nila Anthony Zebra Backpack. How adorable is this! If you’re needing a bag for hunting or an African safari, this is so literal and fun.
Happy packing. Read this post if you want to know what to pack for hunting season.
